In my career I've never met an artillerymen that had accurate answers about tanks without having talked to a tanker first. If tanks were or are becoming obsolete, the no armored force since the creation of the panzer faust would have been successful. While I'll give credit to the Ukrainians for using some very creative methods with their drones and artillery, I'll point out those are not well trained crews. KF51, Armata, Lynx and all these shiny things are great for some nations to play with economics and PR, but the wars we actually have are fought in majority with cold war stuff on all sides - and as war's are a thing that in majority happen off the media attention and outside of wealthy nations, they use what is cheap and availabe. Modern warfare in every century of the past has been a thing that makes 2% of all conflicts, and barely influences the real battlefields.
